Regional Scan Center
The Regional Scan Center is available for members to convert materials to digital files. We have equipment available on site to convert the following types of materials:
- Paper based materials (documents & maps)
- Photographs, negatives and slides
- Microfilm and Microfiche
- LPs (33rpm, 45rpm, and 78rpm records)
- VHS tapes
- CDs and DVDs
- Large format items
- Fragile items

Kaiser R2N CP Image Capturing Set |
The R2N CP Image Capturing Set from Kaiser includes a portable camera stand and an RB 218N HF lighting unit. The hand-cranked height adjustment of the camera arm is offered by friction drive in plastic bearings. You can also adjust the camera arm horizontally and move it at a distance of approximately 2.7” (7cm) back and forth from the column. A 1/4” mounting thread is used for attaching the camera to the arm. The column folds down on the baseboard. The RB 218N HF Lighting unit comes with a high-frequency operating system. It features 2 small light banks, each equipped with a cold-light fluorescent lamp. Each of the light banks is tiltable and adjustable in height. The angle of vertical arms can be adjusted by a lock joint. The lighting units are mounted on strong die-cast clamp bases with a width of up to 1.9” (48mm). Canon EOS 5DS R DSLR Camera is available for use with this stand. |
